INSTALLATION / REPAIRS

The Modern Medical philosophy is based on a full-service approach to maintain gas delivery systems. Modern Medicals technicians have years of experience and can work on both new and older design systems, with quality results.

Our factory trained technicians install equipment and provide repair work. Inspections, adjustments and upgrades are in our normal course of services. Most important, our qualifications and experience are a resource you can depend on. 

Working to N.F.P.A. and J.C.A.H.O requirements, our installers our certified by various professional organizations including: National Inspection Testing Certification: ASSE 6010 Installer ((NFPA 99-2002), ASME IX Brazer. New York City Fire Department: Category G95 Fitness, Vendor-specific factory training and certifications.

 Modern Medicals internal training consists of mandated HIPPA training / testing and our MEDICAL GAS UTILITY PROGRAM which is based on the following regulations: NFPA 99, CGA, AHA, CSA Medical Gas Regulation and OSHA 1910 ) which includes: Overview of Medical Gas Systems, Technical Background, Maintenance & Testing Policies and Procedures, Safety Program, Quality Assurance, New Installation Checklist, Maintenance, Modifications and Repairs, Test Equipment. Modern Medical technicians and installers have on-line availability of technical documentation, service manuals and parts drawings, to ensure quality repairs and installations.

INSPECTIONS  

MMS Services has developed a microprocessor-based, automatic test device with solid state pressure, flow and gas-specific sensors. Every component of the hospital's medical gas system from source to terminal outlets is inspected and tested. This test equipment generates a neat, reader friendly report, on disc and hard copy, with immediate information regarding component identification and defines the areas controlled by zone valves and alarms.
