Abbe Meehan has been the Director of Human Resources at MMS for ten years, reporting to the chief executive officer. Her focus over the past few years has been on employee development, retention and training. She has recently implemented a new eLearning program company-wide to enhance the quality of service provided to our customers and increase the professional and personal development of each employee. Abbe has over 20 years of experience in Accounting, Business Management and Human Resources. Through her position at MMS, Abbe has been able to contribute to countless local communities and organizations. She has participated in local School Career Days, Internship and Job Fairs, and continues to support many community organizations such as Child Abuse Prevention Services, Teens on the Job, and the Mentoring Partnership of Long Island.
Abbe is a longtime member of the Society for Human Resource Management and a major contributor to the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), a unique alliance of professionals and organizations in the industry dedicated to the understanding and beneficial use of medical device technology. Abbe is a graduate of Adelphi University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
